The Jacobean and Crewel style of needlework has always been a favorite of mine. They are a classic and they have a long history.

The pillow shown on left is a 16 inch square and was made from my stitch-out to test the designs. Before I release any design I test them well myself because I trust no one to test for me. Their standards may not be as high as mine.

Usually I scan my sew-outs and post them to show. This is assurance the designs you purchase from me will sew nicely. This collection was impossible to scan because of the larger sizes. Graphs were made to show the arragements when all the parts are joined. Be assured that every design has been tested and will give you quality results.

This Tree Of Life design is actually five files.Three for the 5 X 7 inch hoop and two the 4 X 4 hoop. They were designed in such a way to assure the joining will be easy to hoop and align correctly. This will be easy to accomplish by following the hooping instructions I have prepared for on my site.

FFlower vine1

The vine on the left is made from three 5 X 7 inch files and the two joining flowers. It was designed for the front of a vest or jacket but could become a lovely table runner. In the horizonal position with a family name it would look great in a frame.

The border spray on the right measures 5 X 13 inches would be great on a jacket or vest. Let the vine come out of a pocket. Add the large sunflower between two for a long border design. It can become a corner design with a flower in the corner at the joinings. Use only the top part on the sides of a flower for a perfect pillowcase or towel design. Flip and turn them to fit just about any place you need to trim on your project.

FFstems

These two designs will fit the 5 X 7 inch hoop as they are shown here. I have included seven different Fantasy Flowers designs in this collection that can be used with these stems. This gives the capability to create many matching accessories for the projects you create using the larger designs. You can even design a thin vine to fit your project with stems for placement of the flowers.
You would only need to sew this vine using a satin stitch as we did before the computerized embroidery machines were made. Add the flowers and a large border is created.

The design on the left was designed for a corner decoration but it is not just for a corner. Any of the flowers above can be placed on the stem for variety. The design shown here is made from two separate files. Click here for a file.

Make these designs in just two or three shades of blues with or without applique fabrics to use with those antique blue willow type dishes or in all white for a white work look. Happy is the one Appliquing Fantasy Flowers!
