Ideas for the use of the Friends designs.
Remember the hair color can be changed to make the friends
resemble your own friends better. I have not decorated them so you could
add little touches of your choice. Tiny little bows or ribbon flowers would
be great. Also touches from other embroidery designs could be borrowed
to use with them. You are only limited by your imagination.
#1 Give each design the name of one of your friends. Place
these around the edges of a cloth for your card table. Add some card designs
from my This and That Collection and and invite your friends to a card
party and watch them rave.
#2 For a unique wedding gift sure to be a winner pick
one lady for the bride and one guy for a groom and use them together with
the names and wedding date on any item for their new home.
#3. For a special group quilt project..... Let each member
chose the one of their choice to use in the center of a larger block. Then
make an album type quilt for a president, pastor, school teacher, or any
other special person. Any item with these little friends would be a great
door prize.
#4. Put the friends on a plate mat with a cute friendship
verse or saying different on each mat or the napkins.
#5. Make a jacket or vest for those special occasions......
or name tags to wear at meetings.
Scatter them over a shirt or jacket with the club, spade,
heart and diamond mixed in for a great item to wear to your bridge club.
#6. In a guest bath room watch the smiles as everyone
comes out when these with funny quotes were use to decorate.
#7. Make Christmas decorations and let them take thiers
home after the party for a keep-sake.
#8. On one of Barbara's tote bags instead of the apple
would make a delightful gift to tote
books to and from the library or make a tote to carry
the sewing supplies to class.
Ok....... I am sure you can find many places to use these
little friends. They are a must for any collection. If you let them they
will be your friends for many years to come and always be there to help
you with many gift giving problems... |
